Bevara Building Services partners Sleep in Heavenly Peace
Bevara Building Services, in partnership with the non-profit Sleep in Heavenly Peace - Waukesha-WI Chapter (SHP), hosted a bed build and delivery event this last month in celebration of "Pay it Forward" Day (April 28th).
A bed is a luxury that we often take for granted. The comfort of a bed and an adequate night’s sleep has a direct impact on a child’s physical, emotional, and mental development. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a national organization that works to provide beds for underprivileged children around local communities.
All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. Too many boys and girls go without a bed or even a pillow to sleep on. Many end up sleeping on couches, blankets, and even floors. SHP's mission: No kid sleeps on the floor in our town!
SHP has over 250 local chapters nationwide and Bevara had the chance to sponsor a build day event with the Waukesha, WI chapter. With the help of our vendors and partners, Bevara fundraised $10,500. All donations went to helping our team of volunteers build, assemble, and deliver beds to children and families within the Waukesha County area.

Who is Sleep in Heavenly Peace?
Founded in Kimberly, Idaho in 2012, Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is THE ONLY charity providing hand-made beds of their own. With so many great charities providing clothing, meals, and toys, little help goes to something as permanent as providing suitable beds and bedding.
SHP is a group of volunteers dedicated to finding those young children living without the luxury of sleeping on a bed or laying their heads on a pillow. Through the wonderful efforts of volunteers and generous donations, bunk beds are built, assembled, and delivered to those children who are otherwise sleeping on couches, blankets, or even floors.
